OUR HISTORY

Every history has a beginning. A long journey that began more than 80 years ago and that we have made it happen day after day. It has been an exciting challenge, which has led us to become a company with vast experience, reliability, soundness and adaptability to the health needs demanded by society.

1937: establishment of Laboratorios Orto in Sevilla

1938: establishment of Laboratorios Normon in Madrid

1958: Laboratorios Orto and Laboratorios Normon merge under the name of Laboratorios Normon, based in Madrid

1992: the marketing of our prestigious anesthetic Ultracain marks the birth of our Dental Division.

1997: Normon launches the first generic drug to the Spanish market

2006: inauguration of the new facilities in Tres Cantos, Madrid

2010: the new line for health-care products (OTC) is launched to the market

2011: we expand our facilities to an area of 86,000 m2

2012: Normon celebrates 75 years

2016: we receive the FDA approval to market our products in the United States

2017: Normon celebrates 80 years
