Technological concept

Siemens Dematic, Labware and Normon technicians have planned a logistics system based on automation of the palletisation, storage, finished product order preparation and dispatch processes.

Functional concept

The integrated logistics system starts as the boxes leave the production lines and ends when the orders are loaded onto the lorries for distribution.

1 Automated carriage of pallets from the production zones to the automated warehouse.

2 Automated warehouse, fitted with machinery designed and manufactured by Siemens Dematic, which fulfils the functions for the storage of semi-finished and finished products.

3 Picking zone, with three specific functions: unit picking in dynamic shelves, complete box picking and completed orders carriage to the dispatch bay.

4 Reception zone, where different materials and external finished products are received for storage and distribution.

5 Dispatch zone, where the boxes that make up orders are classified by final destinations.
