At the start of the nineties, Laboratorios Normon, in accordance with General Directorate of Pharmacy, decided to develop generic medicinal products. Seven years later, it became the first laboratory to market the first three generics authorised in Spain. The company has maintained its leadership in the domestic generics market, through continuous and significant investment in R&D.
Today, Normon is the leading generics manufacturing company in Spain. Over 70 drug substances and 330 presentations developed to date place us at the forefront of the sector.

The Normon vademecum is one of the largest in the Spanish pharmaceutical market, covering such areas as anti-infection, cardiovascular and antiulcer treatments, medicinal products for the central nervous system, analgesics, anti-inflammatories, antigout, antihistaminics, hypolipemiants and mucolytics, among others. But far from abandoning our previous areas of business, our investment in generics has enabled us to develop other product lines, such as dental products, which are now a major part of our activity.
